Juvenile charged with attempted murder in Monday shooting

JACKSON, Tenn. — A male juvenile is facing two counts of attempted murder in an early morning shooting Monday in east Jackson.

Police responded around 1 a.m. to the shooting in the 200 block of Morningside Drive, according to a release from the Jackson Police Department.

Two male juveniles were injured in the shooting and transported to local hospitals.

The case is still under investigation.
