Weather Update – 10:45 p.m. Monday
Mostly cloudy skies and windy conditions will keep overnight low temperatures to just the upper 50s and lower 60s at the coolest point of the night. Scattered showers and thunderstorms are possible but most of the activity won’t arrive until after midnight. Following that, West Tennessee could be in for a stormy Tuesday morning.
West Tennessee is under a marginal to slight risk for severe weather between now and 6am Tuesday morning and then solely under a slight risk after 6am Tuesday. Large hail is currently the main threat but damaging winds and an isolated tornado are also possible.
Temperatures will go from highs in the 60s to highs in the 40s between Wednesday and Thursday but the colder weather will be brief. Stay tuned to WBBJ 7 Eyewitness News for the latest on the weekend forecast and with the VIPIR 7 Storm Team on-air and online for more updates!
