Weather Update – 10:00 p.m. Wednesday

Scattered showers are moving across West Tennessee this evening with a few areas of heavy rain. Our risk for severe weather is low but scattered thunderstorms are possible. Keep those umbrellas handy tomorrow as showers will be possible for the rest of the workweek!

Showers will be possible overnight and a few thunderstorms could produce some heavy rainfall at times. Expect windy conditions overnight as well with temperatures dropping to the 50s at the coolest point of the night. Off-and-on rain will continue for most of the day on Thursday. Thunderstorms are possible tomorrow but are likely to be very few. Perhaps the biggest impact from our weather tomorrow will be the temperatures. We could have temperatures in the lower to middle 50s during the afternoon tomorrow which is more typical for the average February than in May.

Showers will remain possible into Friday but clearer skies are expected by the weekend with warmer temperatures. Tune in to WBBJ 7 Eyewitness News for a look at how much rain could fall and keep in touch with the VIPIR 7 Storm Team on-air and online for more updates!
