Celebrate Free Comic Book Day with Hub City businesses

JACKSON, Tenn. — You can join in the Free Comic Book Day revelry this weekend at businesses based here in the Hub City.

On Saturday, May 6, Comics Universe, located at 1869 Highway 45 Bypass, will take part in the giveaway.

The store will be open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and will offer free comics and also have a sale on back-issue comics for $1 each.

Another local store, Nerdvana, located at 1923 Emporium Drive, will also take part in the celebration.

They will be open from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. and will offer free comic books as well as Free Comic Book Day bags, buttons, stickers and more.
