Second man charged in theft of tools from AMP in downtown Jackson

JACKSON, Tenn. — A second man is now facing charges in the theft of more than $1,000 worth of tools from the stage at the AMP in downtown Jackson.

James Perry is charged with theft over $1,000, according to court documents.

The owner told police the tools went missing from the stage overnight between April 14 and April 15.

The owner later recovered them from Krasner Pawn and Jewelry. The transaction from April 15 shows that Perry pawned the stolen tools, according to an affidavit.

Police say photos provided by Krasner Pawn and Jewelry show Perry and another man , Keith Fason, pawning the stolen items.

Fason is also charged in the theft.
