Weather Update – 11:00 p.m. Wednesday

As showers continue to dissipate skies are becoming partly cloudy. Temperatures will drop to the middle and upper 60s at the coolest point of the night. Expect breezy weather at times with winds from the south at 5 to 10 miles per hour.

Another hot day is forecast for Thursday with a mix of sun and clouds and highs in the lower to middle 80s. One of the noticeable differences between today and tomorrow will be the increase in humidity! There’s a slight chance for scattered showers and thunderstorms as well. Rain chances will increase toward the end of the workweek. West Tennessee is under a marginal to slight risk for severe weather on Friday. Showers and thunderstorms will be scattered however, so not everyone may get rain on Friday.
