Local EMS win ‘Battle of the Badges’ blood drive
JACKSON, Tenn. — As the Hub City’s “Battle of the Badges” blood drive comes to an end, a new winner claims victory.
According to Lifeline Blood Services, members of the local medical center EMS won the battle for the first time ever, with more than 50 donations.
They topped last year’s winner, the Madison County Sheriff’s Office, which finished with 32 donations this year.
In third place was the Jackson Police Department with 24 donors.
