Police respond to crash involving overturned tractor-trailer in east Jackson

JACKSON, Tenn. — Police responded Tuesday morning to a crash involving a tractor-trailer on Chester Street.

Police say a tractor-trailer collided with another vehicle in the area of the Highway 70 Bypass and James Buchanan Drive in east Jackson.

Reports say the driver had been working for Milan Express hauling Folgers coffee when the trailer overturned.

The driver reportedly had minor cuts and bruises and did require some stitches when transported to the hospital.
