Sheriff’s Dept. investigates Madison County shooting

MADISON COUNTY, Tenn. — The sheriff’s department is investigating a Tuesday afternoon shooting northeast of Jackson.

The incident occurred in the area of Quiet Dale Drive. Neighbors there said no one was injured.

Tom Mapes, public information officer with the Madison County Sheriff’s Department, said the shooting is under investigation.
