JPD: North Side high school placed on brief lockdown
JACKSON, Tenn. — Jackson police have confirmed North Side High School was placed on a brief lock down Friday evening.
Jackson police were called to the scene along with investigators around 9:30 p.m.
Tom Mapes, PIO with the Madison County Sheriff’s Department, says shots were fired in the North Side High School parking lot.
There were no injuries and no arrests.
A Jackson-Madison County Schools spokesperson says it happened following the North Side High School basketball game.
