Tennessee Education Lottery Educator of the Week: Brittany Flowers

HUMBOLDT, Tenn. — This week’s Educator of the Week presented by the Tennessee Education Lottery teaches elementary students in Humboldt.

Brittany Flowers teaches at East Elementary School. She says it’s the students that keep her motivated as an educator.

“I just love my kids,” Flowers said. “It’s challenging at times, but at the end of the day you just have to remember what’s best for them.”

She says she tries to maintain a positive setting for her students to learn.

“Just setting the environment for my classroom and trying to remember that my mood, you know, that’s going to determine everything for them.”
