Highs Near 60°F for Friday Afternoon

Weather Update – 10:15 p.m. – Thursday

Sunny skies finally brought the warmer weather back to West Tennessee today and with light winds out of the south, our temperatures have dropped to just below and above freezing already tonight. However, another cold front will be coming through West Tennessee on Saturday and Sunday to bring scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms for a wet weekend.

TONIGHT
Under clear skies, temperatures will be in the lower to middle 30s at the coolest point of the night. That may end up being around midnight with temperatures warming up as winds pick up a bit more out of the south during the early morning on Friday. This will put our temperatures in our temperatures mostly in the middle 30s at sunrise.

We’re expecting mainly clear skies through early afternoon tomorrow with even warmer weather than we had today. Temperatures could warm up to the upper 50s and lower 60s at the warmest point of the day. A cold front will move through this weekend bringing showers and an isolated thunderstorm or two to West Tennessee on Sunday. Most of West Tennessee could get between 1 and 2″ of rain on Saturday and Sunday but with temperatures staying above freezing for most of the next several days.
