JPD: Possible bomb threat at North Jackson business, no bomb found

NORTH JACKSON, Tenn.–Jackson police responded to a report of a possible bomb threat Thursday night at Portfolio Recovery Associates Collection Agency off the 45 bypass in North Jackson.

Police say they received a suspicious call around 7:20 p.m.

Police say they evacuated the building as a precautionary measure.

Officers did not find anything confirming a bomb threat once inside the business, according to police.

Police traced the phone call and said it came from another state.

No one was injured and there is no threat to the community.
