JPD searching for suspect in theft from north Jackson bar

JACKSON, Tenn. — Investigators with the Jackson Police Department need the public’s help in identifying a suspect in a theft from a north Jackson bar.

According to a news release, a man came into Tap Bar and Grill on Old Hickory Boulevard on March 5.

The unidentified man took a cell phone that was on a pool table while the owner of the phone was playing pool, the release says.

Video surveillance shows a black man with a low hair cut, wearing a white striped plaid shirt, taking the phone off the pool table and leaving the bar.

Anyone who can identify the man is asked to call the Jackson Police Department at 731-425-8400 or Crime Stoppers at 731-424-TIPS (8477).
