One person dies in I-40 car wreck

JACKSON, Tenn.–Officials say one person died in a car accident on I-40 westbound Thursday.

The Tennessee Highway Patrol says two other people are severely injured in the one vehicle crash in the westbound lane at mile marker 72.
THP could not confirm any details on how the crash happened. The names of the people in the car have not been released.
