Local church gives over 100 fruit baskets to Madison Co. Sheriff’s Office

MADISON COUNTY, Tenn. — Deputies at the Madison County Sheriff’s Office got a holiday surprise.

Men from Antioch Baptist Church brought over 100 fruit baskets to the deputies Friday at the sheriff’s office.

They were filled with bananas, grapes, oranges and other fruits packed by a local grocery store.

They say they’re doing this because of the sheriff’s office’s dedication to keeping area churches safe.
