Tennessee Education Lottery Educator of the Week: Audrey Seyerle

“]MEDINA, Tenn. —  This week’s Educator of the Week presented by the Tennessee Education Lottery is first grade teacher Audrey Seyerle of South Gibson County Elementary. She has taught for seven years.

Seyerle says she has wanted to be a teacher most of her life.

“I have always known that I wanted to be a teacher,” Seyerle said. “I’ve always loved teaching kids and being around kids. They just make me happy.”

She says the best part is just being around her students every day.

“I enjoy just being a part of their lives and just spending time with them,” Seyerle said. “They give me big hugs and love on me every day, so it just brightens my day.”

Seyerle will now be eligible for the statewide Tennessee Education Lottery Educator of the Month award. Starting in January, to vote for her or any of the other nominees, visit www.seehowitaddsup.com.
