Police: 1 injured in east Jackson shooting

JACKSON, Tenn. — Police say one person was injured Monday afternoon in a shooting on Muse Street in east Jackson.

Officers on scene confirm one person was injured and taken to a local hospital. There was no word on the extent of the injuries.

Police got the call about the shooting around 2:15 p.m. They say the shooting occurred in the street.

Police said they have no suspect information at this time.
