American Heart Association hosts Circle of Red
JACKSON, Tenn.–A local non-profit organization is turning red for a good cause.
The American Heart Association held their annual reception for the Circle of Red at the New Southern in downtown Jackson, Monday night.
The Circle of Red consists of 50 women who donate healthy snacks for students at local school to promote heart health.
Volunteers use this event to network, educate each other on heart health and share their personal experiences.
“We are all affected by this, so, we all need to contribute to research and what not to try to help stop some of that,” said Caitlin Roach, 2019 Chairwoman of Circle of Red.
The American Heart Association will have a Red Tie Breakfast for men volunteers, Tuesday morning.
