JMCSS cancels after-school extracurricular activities due to weather threat

JACKSON, Tenn. — School officials have announced that all after-school extracurricular activities for Tuesday are canceled due to the threat of heavy rain and localized flooding Tuesday afternoon.

This does not affect student aftercare, which will operate as usual, according to a statement from the school system.

A decision about school Wednesday will be made later Tuesday afternoon.
