BREAKING: Police respond to shooting in east Jackson

JACKSON, Tenn. — Jackson police responded Tuesday evening to a shooting in east Jackson.

Police confirmed around 6 p.m. that they were responding to a shooting on Highview Street near the intersection of North Royal Street and East Forest Avenue.

There is no word on injuries at this time.
