Crews respond to house fire near downtown Jackson
JACKSON, Tenn. — Firefighters responded Tuesday afternoon to a blaze at a home near downtown Jackson.
The fire was at a home on Wells Street. At least three fire trucks were on scene as of around 2:30 p.m.
The Jackson Fire Department says no injuries were reported and no one was home.
The homeowner told WBBJ 7 Eyewitness News she had taken her cats to the vet at the time of the fire.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
