Chance for Rain Slowly Returns Midweek
Weather Update – 10:45 p.m. – Monday, April 22nd
It was another beautiful day in West Tennessee where we had a third day in a row with clear skies and no rain! The air wasn’t too humid yet but we’ll notice over the next few days that the “muggy meter” will go up as dew points increase into the lower and middle 60s by Wednesday ahead of our next round of rain.
TONIGHT
Clear skies are becoming partly to mostly cloudy now which will keep us from reaching the 40s we started with this morning. With light winds and clouds overhead, temperatures will only drop to the middle and upper 50s by sunrise Tuesday morning.
Under partly to mostly cloudy skies, temperatures will warm up to the upper 70s and lower 80s again at the warmest point of the day tomorrow. A slight chance for rain is forecast for the afternoon and evening in northwest Tennessee. That chance for rain is only 20% but will increase as we approach Thursday. Showers and thunderstorms could produce ¼” to 1¼” of rain Thursday morning through evening.
