Scattered Showers and Thunderstorms Return to End the Week

Weather Update – 12:00 a.m. – Friday, May 2nd

Showers and thunderstorms continue to move through West Tennessee tonight producing locally heavy rainfall. The risk for severe weather has ended but rain will continue into the early morning hours. Temperatures will drop to near 60°F by sunrise.

Odds are, we’ll have a break in the rain in the morning tomorrow through early afternoon but later in the day and especially Friday night, showers and thunderstorms will become more likely. With a mix of sun and clouds we’ll have high temperatures near 80°F Friday. Showers and thunderstorms remain possible during the first part of this weekend, with off and on rain on Saturday.
