Scattered Showers Tonight and Wednesday
Weather Update – 11:00 p.m. – Tuesday, May 14th
Clear skies continue to allow for relatively cool temperatures tonight after a beautiful day in West Tennessee! We can expect clouds to increase in the area overnight before we’ll see scattered showers arrive early Wednesday morning.
TONIGHT
We’ll be getting chilly tonight again but with lows in just the lower to middle 50s by sunrise Wednesday morning. Scattered showers are going to be possible, especially in northwest Tennessee and near the Tennessee River early tomorrow.
Scattered showers may also become accompanied by a few embedded thunderstorms in West Tennessee tomorrow, especially in the afternoon, so keep the umbrella handy! We can expect a mix of sun and clouds otherwise with temperatures getting slightly warmer than they were today and reaching the upper 70s in the afternoon. There’s currently a marginal risk for a strong to severe thunderstorm during the afternoon and evening. The strongest thunderstorms may produce some small hail and gusty winds along with locally heavy downpours.
