Pop-Up Showers Possible Thursday and Friday

Weather Update – 10:30 p.m. – Wednesday, May 15th

Thunderstorms produced localized heavy downpours in West Tennessee today, and some were even strong enough to create some small hail! We’ll be in a pattern that allows for at least a small chance for isolated showers and thunderstorms for the next two days, especially in the afternoons and early evening before showers and thunderstorms cover a more widespread area on Sunday.

TONIGHT
The rain has dissipated in West Tennessee for the rest of the night with partly cloudy skies over head and fog beginning to develop. Visibility could be less than a mile in some areas by Thursday morning. Temperatures will start out close to 60°F early tomorrow.

Temperatures will warm up into the middle 80s tomorrow afternoon but with a slight chance for pop-up showers and thunderstorms once again. Thursday’s chance for rain is 20% meaning that only a few areas may encounter any rain at all tomorrow. Those that do could see a heavy downpour!
