Local church to host block party Saturday in downtown Jackson

JACKSON, Tenn. — A church is preparing to empower the community through fun.

Empowerment Community Church is having a block party Saturday in downtown Jackson.

It will start at noon at 455 East Main Street.

There will be food and fun activities for the kids.

The block party is free and open to the public.
