Free Fishing Day is Saturday, June 8

JACKSON, Tenn. — Don’t forget, Saturday, June 8, free fishing day in Tennessee.

The annual event is an opportunity for anyone to fish without a license in Tennessee’s public waters.

The Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency provides the free day in hopes of increasing interest in fishing.

Children ages 15 and younger can also fish without a license starting Saturday, June 8 through June 14.
