Adamsville fostering young roster into the system

ADAMSVILLE, Tenn. — For over a decade, Adamsville head football coach Brandon Gray has been putting together a quality product on the field every single year.

His plans for 2019 are no different.  While the Cardinals have dealt with some injuries throughout the summer months, the Adamsville coaching staff has been focusing on tuning up and developing younger players into the system.

The Cardinals have seen late season success in recent years, dating back to consecutive state title appearances in 2012 and 2013. However last year, Adamsville came up just shy of a playoff birth.

As the new season approaches at a rapid pace, Coach Gray’s primary goal is to continue putting key players in important roles on both sides of the ball.

Adamsville will begin their season at the Lexington Jamboree on the night of August 16.
