Senior experience set to be key factor for McNairy
SELMER, Tenn. — The McNairy Bobcats will enter the 2019 campaign with several members with significant experience from previous seasons.
Most of these seniors on the roster played important roles on last year’s team that finished 3rd in Region 7 3A behind Covington and Milan.
Specifically, the veteran leadership shows up all over the field for head coach Brian Franks at offensive line, the linebacker and running back positions, and of course, his starting quarterback.
Cole Kirk broke out of his shell in 2018 as a junior, becoming one of the more efficient passers in the area. He returns for his last year of high school football, looking to take the Bobcats to the highest level.
McNairy kicks off the 2019 year at the Lexington Jamboree before opening up with Hardin County.
