Man convicted in toddler’s death appears in court

JACKSON, Tenn. — A man convicted of killing a toddler returned to court Monday.

Darwin Reid was convicted in November of killing 4-year-old Zion Croom in 2016.

Reid returned to court Monday for a sentencing hearing on a charge of criminally negligent homicide, but the hearing was reset.

Reid is now scheduled to return to court on January 7 for sentencing.
