No injuries in morning house fire

JACKSON, Tenn. — The Jackson Fire Department responded to a house fire Wednesday morning in west Jackson.

The fire appeared to have started in the back porch area of the home on Ellis Drive.

A neighbor told WBBJ 7 Eyewitness the owner attempted to put out the fire with a water hose prior to the fire department arriving.

Fire officials say no injuries were reported in the fire.
