Tennessee Department of Revenue extends business tax deadline

NASHVILLE, Tenn. — The Tennessee Department of Revenue announced it is extending the deadline to file and pay business taxes.

The deadline was originally set for April 15, but will now be moved to June 15, according to a Tweet from the department.

This only applies to returns and payments that were due on April 15.

The tax is applied to most businesses selling goods and services, according to the department.
