Good Morning West Tennessee. We have a rather soggy day on the way for your Wednesday. You will definitely want to have the rain wear all day. Looks like there might be a brief lull in the showers through late morning. First Alert Futurecast also indicates the potential for some filtered sunshine at times. That is not a good thing! The main upper low pressure is forecast to shift east slowly through today and Thursday. With the pocket of cold air aloft, sunshine will further steepen lapse rates. Strong updrafts that develop will lead to storms, perhaps a few stronger ones in there as well, although widespread severe storms are not expected.
