Jackson Police investigate shots fired near downtown

JACKSON, Tenn. — Jackson Police are investigating a report of shots fired near downtown.

Officers responded to Wells Alley, near the Lift, after a report of shots fired in the area.

Police were in the area with K9 units this afternoon around 1:30.

Police say no injuries or property damage was reported.
