Second Dyer County escapee found in Illinois

ROCK ISLAND, Ill. — U.S. Marshals have captured the second inmate who escaped from the Dyer County Jail.

A news release from the Marshal service says Michael Bolden was arrested Friday night without incident. Marshals say he was found in Rock Island, Illinois, roughly 200 miles west of Chicago.

Marshals say Bolden, along with Antoine Thomas, overpowered and injured a correctional officer and escaped over a fence on  last Saturday.

Thomas was captured in Dyersburg the following day, according to the release. He was being held on charges of aggravated robbery, aggravated assault and resisting arrest.

The release says Bolden was being held on failure to appear on charges of possession with intent to distribute scheduled I narcotics and resisting arrest.
