Authorities work car accident on South Highland Avenue

JACKSON, Tenn. — All traffic was closed on South Highland Avenue due to a car accident.

According to witnesses on the scene, a car crashed into a utility pole causing power outages in the area.

The incident happened around 5 p.m.

Jackson police were directing traffic in the area.
