Madison County issues mask mandate through December

JACKSON, Tenn. — The Jackson-Madison County Regional Health Department has issued a mask mandate through the end of December.

Health department regional director Kim Tedford made the announcement Friday afternoon in a press conference.

Tedford said the new mask mandate will go in effect at midnight, and will remain in effect through the end of December.

Tedford said the mandate is due to a spike in cases in Madison County and surrounding counties.
