Colorful race raises money for Therapy & Learning Center
After having to take 2020 off, the Splash and Dash 5k and 1-Mile Fun Run is back!
Hundreds of West Tennesseans chose to get colorful for a cause.
Participants supported the many children and adults with special needs, developmental concerns and disabilities served by the Therapy & Learning Center.
Through the funds raised by the Splash & Dash 5k, Therapy & Learning Center is able to provide a higher quality of innovated services, equipment and medical/therapy items needed for children and adults, as well as specialized therapy, education, and care.
“Just how awesome they are,” said Ron Kwasigrow, Director of Splash & Dash 5k.
After the races, the fun didn’t stop!
Right after the race is the Color Fest – which had a painted petting zoo, a kiddie car wash where you can suds up, a gigantic slip n’ slide full of color for all ages, tattoo station, free sponsored race gear, vendor booths, snow-cone truck, and music pumping with a post race color powder dance party!
