Weather Update: Tuesday, October 5 —

After a chilly start to the morning. I expect a mainly quiet morning with plenty of sunshine through this early this afternoon. Temperature should climb through the 70s to around 80 this afternoon. Dynamically, there will be an upper level low pressure system that moves into NW Mississippi by later this evening. the cold air aloft associated with the low and increasing moisture from the east will likely lead to showers and storms. Main threats today will be with heavy rain, and perhaps some small hail in more organized storms. Severe storms are not expected…
