Arrest made in Nov. 6 shooting in Savannah

SAVANNAH, Tenn. — An arrest has been made in the Nov. 6 shooting on Shell Street in Savannah.

Savannah police say that officers had been dispatched after a report of a shooting, and there they found 37-year-old Andre Graham dead with a gunshot wound.

Days later, Savannah police issued a warrant for 32-year-old Andre Cortez Williams, of Bolivar.

Savannah police confirmed on Tuesday that Williams was taken into custody in Jackson.

The department says Williams has been charged with first-degree murder during the perpetration of a felony, possession of a weapon during the commission of a dangerous felony, especially aggravated armed robbery, and being a convicted felon in possession of a firearm.

Savannah police say this is an active and on-going investigation.
