Jackson police investigating hit-and-run involving child

JACKSON, Tenn. — Jackson police are investigating a hit-and-run that took place on Tuesday.

The department says a 6-years-old was hit around 8:50 p.m. at Forest Avenue and Prospect Avenue.

Police confirmed that a suspect has also been located.
