US Marshals: Men wanted out of state arrested in Union City

JACKSON, Tenn. — U.S. Marshal Tyreece Miller says two men wanted out of state have been arrested.

The Marshal’s news release says 39-year-old Jeremy Rico Etheridge, who was wanted out of Indiana, and 64-year-old Eric Garrett, who was wanted out of Wisconsin, were both arrested in Union City.

The release says Etheridge was allegedly involved in a fatal shooting in Indianapolis in December, and was wanted for first-degree murder.

Marshals say Garrett had an outstanding warrant out of Kenosha.

Marshals say they were found together and were taken into custody without incident.

“We appreciate the information from the public that led to the arrest of an alleged Indiana murder fugitive and a second fugitive from Wisconsin” said Miller. “When law enforcement and the community work together, our neighborhoods are safer.”
