First ever Summer Solstice set for late June

MADISON COUNTY, Tenn. — The first ever Summer Solstice event is coming Middle Fork Bottoms this June.

The event, hosted by the West Tennessee River Basin Authority, will offer kayaking classes, chalk-the-walk for kids, free music, yoga, mediation class, vendors and and guided golf cart tours, according to a news release.

Prices will vary on the class you are interested in. You can learn more about each class here.

The event will begin at 10 a.m. on June 25 and continue until 8 p.m., when it closes out with the Middle Fork Twilight 5K Run.

You can find Middle Fork Bottoms at 111 Sanders Bluff Road in Three Way. It is off of Highway 45.
