Billy Fay Russell, age 82, passed away on Tuesday, November 15, 2022. Graveside Funeral Services will be conducted on Friday, November 18, 2022, at 2:00 PM, at the Brownsville Memorial Gardens Mausoleum with Rev. Sammy Tillman officiating.
Billy was born on April 1, 1940 in Henderson County, TN. He was a retired truck driver, loved working on trucks, enjoyed family dinners on Friday nights and loved his grandkids.
Billy is survived by his sister, Jean Gray, Brownsville, TN, brother-in-law, Lynn Cates, Brownsville, TN, two grandchildren, Dalton Jones (Madelyn), and Dylan Jones and one great grandchild, Carmen Jones.
He was preceded in death by his parents, J.D. and Nora Hollawell Russell, two sisters, Ann Canady and Melba Cates and brother-in-law, Richard Gray.
In lieu of flowers, memorials made be made to the First United Methodist Church, 117 E. Franklin St., Brownsville, TN 38012. All services and arrangements are under the direction of the Lea & Simmons Funeral Home in Brownsville, TN.
