Free Thanksgiving meals to be distributed in Henderson

HENDERSON, Tenn. — “Cookies for Cancer” will be giving away free Thanksgiving meals in Henderson.

The meals are free to anyone in need and will include turkey and dressing, gravy, sweet potatoes and pumpkin pie.

If you or anyone you know could use a hot meal for Thanksgiving, you’re asked to contact the event’s organizer before Monday, November 21.

Beth Sappington Everett says to reach out to her via Facebook, by email at everettbeth@yahoo.com, or by phone at (731) 658-6347, to ensure there is enough food for those interested.

The pick-up date will be Thanksgiving Day, which is Thursday, November 24, at the Henderson Family Pharmacy, the former Fred’s location.

The distribution will be held from 10 a.m. through noon, or until supplies last.
