Jackson Symphony to ring in Christmas with Holiday Pops concert

JACKSON, Tenn. — Sounds of the season are ringing in!

The Jackson Symphony is kicking off Christmas with a huge Holiday Pops weekend.

There are two opportunities to chime in, with a matinee concert beginning Dec. 3 at 11 a.m. at the Carl Perkins Civic Center.

Officials with the Jackson Symphony say its the perfect chance for families with children to sing along and participate.

The full concert will deck the halls at 7 p.m.

Join local legend Daniel Joyner and guests for one of Jackson’s favorite holiday traditions, with classics such as “O Holy Night,” “Hallelujah Chorus,” and “Sleigh Ride.”

“This is just a great opportunity for families and for people to kick off the Christmas season,” said Elizabeth Stokes, director of marketing and development. “Santa Claus might make a stop by, so really a really fun, unique time and we hope that everyone will come join us.”

Tables of eight are available for the matinee concert starting at $100. Balcony seats are available at $10 for children and $15 for adults.

Tables for the evening show are currently sold out, however, balcony seats are available at $40 each.
