‘The Nutcracker’ hits the stage at Civic Center Dec. 9-11

JACKSON, Tenn. — A favorite holiday tradition is returning to the stage in the Hub City.

Ballet Arts will present “The Nutcracker” at the Carl Perkins Civic Center from Dec. 9-11.

You’re invited to experience the magic with Clara, Mouse Queen and Sugarplum Fairy as they go on an enchanting adventure on Christmas Eve.

A variety of seating and ticket options are available starting at $20.

Performances will be held at 7 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 9 and Saturday, Dec. 10, and a 2 p.m. show is scheduled for Sunday, Dec. 11.

Additionally, you can enjoy some delectable treats at the Land of the Sweets Tea Party prior to the shows on Saturday and Sunday.

This add-on option will allow party goers to “visit with some of their favorite characters from the Nutcracker while enveloped in an atmosphere of mystery.” Also, little ones who attend the Tea Party will receive a special gift for their Christmas tree.
