Vicki Gene Meyers Daniels

Vicki Gene Meyers Daniels, age 66, departed this life Monday, March 6, 2023 at Pine Meadows Healthcare Center in Bolivar, Tennessee.

Vicki was born October 3, 1956 in Memphis, Tennessee, the daughter of the late Gene and Helen Meyers. In earlier years, Vicki graduated from Overton High School in 1974. She went on to become a beautician and master barber, and was the owner and operator of the former Golden Shears Hair Design in Arlington, Tennessee.

Vicki was a part of the Harper and Morgan Rodeo Association alongside some of the greatest cowboys and cowgirls including her lifelong best friend, Karen Swatck. She loved traveling and the outdoors, riding horses, raising Grand Champion horses, trick-riding and barrel racing. Vicki loved her family and friends and to know her was to love her. She will be remembered as a person who “told it like it was” and for her jalapeno cornbread and potato salad.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son-in-law, Bobby Ferge. Ms. Daniels leaves behind her only child, Nikki Ferge of Somerville, TN; her only sister, Micki Meyers of Covington, TN; her niece, Kelley Wallace of Brighton, TN; her grandson, Hunter Boyd Ferge; and three great-nieces, Kiera, Kourtney and Khloe.

A Celebration of Life Service for Ms. Daniels will be held at 1 P.M. Saturday, April 1, 2023 at Agape Spirit of Truth at 186 Front Street, Mason, Tennessee 38049.
