McKenzie man faces drug, weapons charges

WEAKLEY COUNTY, Tenn. — A McKenzie man is facing charges following the search of a home over the weekend.

According to the Weakley County Sheriff’s Office on Facebook, a search warrant was executed at a home on Tumbling Creek Road in McKenzie on Sunday.

Investigators searched the home and found around 160 grams of methamphetamine, two firearms, and other items used to sell and consume meth, the sheriff’s office said.

Joseph Floyd now faces charges of manufacture, deliver, sell or possession schedule II drug violations, unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

The investigation was began by the 24th Judicial Drug Task Force.
